An Update on Naresh’s College Success and Continued Personal Development
Recently, Hope Centre manager Tilak Shrestha caught up with Naresh Jaishi to find out how he is getting on in his studies at Khagendra Memorial College in Kathmandu. Naresh is going from strength to strength, a testament to his character and determination to conquer adversity.
New Futures have been supporting Naresh since 2024 through our Lifelines Scheme, funding his food and accommodation for a 2 year period while he completes his studies. See Naresh’s full incredible story in our previous blog.
Naresh gave us this update:
“To New Futures Nepal, all trustees, and supporters,
Respected sir/madam - Namaste!
First of all my greeting (Namaste) to you. I am Naresh Jaishi, the student whom you have helped.
I would like to thank you very much for your great support to my study in Khagendra Memorial College, Kathmandu and for staying in a hostel. Since your helping me with my secondary education, I have been able to study well. <While> in college I am honest and disciplined, participating in the classroom daily, doing all the homework, and being a good student with the teachers. Thanks to your help I am very happy to be able to purchase my daily needs easily.
Currently living in a hostel, I am very happy to read and write together with many friends. Due to <my> good studies I also passed the Class 11 board exam with first division. Now I am studying well even in Class 12. Hopefully I will pass 12th easily. In the future, when I am capable to earn, then I wish to help other needy <people> like me. I <will> always remember your general help. Therefore, I have been continuing my studies since your support. I am hoping you continue your support for my studies.
Thank you very much for your help and much love.
Sincerely yours,
Naresh Jaishi
