Our 2024 Christmas Fundraising Appeal
Help us fund a second round of tracksuits for the children of Chheskam!
With the season of goodwill fast approaching, we would like to take this opportunity to tell you about our 2024 Festive Fundraising Campaign.
Back in 2022, following the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and in partnership with the Everest Mera Foundation (EMF), New Futures Nepal funded cold weather tracksuits for children at Chheskam Secondary School in the Mahakulung region of Nepal. Thanks to your wonderful generosity, the children of Chheskam were not only able to take part in valuable physical education, but were also able to continue their studies through harsh winter conditions in comfort (helping reduce dropout rates and easing financial burdens on families in remote regions around Mt. Everest).

That said, the tracksuits are coming to the end of their useful lives and now need replacing.
Maybe you would like to cover the cost of a tracksuit as a present to a child in Nepal? Alternatively, why not take this opportunity to buy a tracksuit on behalf of a friend or family member as a Christmas present this festive season?

Together, we need to raise £6,659 for a total of 811 tracksuits across a range of age ranges (please use the donate button):
249 for the youngest children up to Class 5 at an average cost of £5.29 each.
347 for the children in Classes 6 to 8 at an average cost of £8.45 each.
215 for the children in Classes 9 to 12 at an average cost of £11.21 each
