In 2025, the Nirmala Foundation visited the UK for Nirmala to have a new Ottobock prosthetic fitted and to attend multiple events across the UK to promote their foundation. Nirmala recently spoke to us about her experiences of the UK, and how these trips will allow her to attempt to reach Everest Base Camp in 2026, and represent a catalyst for change for the Nirmala Foundation.

During our most recent monitoring visit to Nepal, 3 New Futures Nepal Trustees joined the Nirmala Foundation and several children from the Hope Centre on a yoga and nature experience at the Godawari Botanical Gardens in the Lalitpur District of Nepal.
